I used my Sizzix Scalloped Flap Box die to cut some paper I had from a Jinger Adams paper pack. I thought the color and print of the paper had a tropical feel. It reminded me of some of the patterns I saw on fabrics in Hawaii.
Then I cut
just the bottom of the scalloped flap and the flowers from a white glitter cardstock. This gave the box a simple little accent.
To tie it all together, literally, I used a piece of raffia. This tied in to the tropical Hawaiian feel with the look of traditional hula skirts or thatched roofs.

I put a few of the cookies from Honolulu Cookie inside the box along with a small package of Hawaiian coffee. My neighbor loved it. I found out that her daughter was married in Maui and that she loved those cookies and the Hawaiian coffee that she had on that trip.
