Hey guys , I’m back with a new tip. do you have a USB device or any storage device even in your computer(just like a folder with missing files) containing files you can’t see meanwhile you know they are in there hiding? Then in this quick tutorial I’ll tell you more about recovering them.
The  first thing To Be Done Is To Verify the Space Occupied By The Folder.

Its Just Like Incredible. The File Is Empty But Still occupies 76Mbs.
This may usually be due to some settings by the user like hiding files with windows.

(On Windows Xp It may be Different To Access the View Settings.

Where this could be solved by ticking the ‘hidden items button’.  but sometimes this may be caused by our regular guys ‘viruses’.
So in this case we shall proceed as follows:
i hope you all remember our buddy ‘command prompt, aka cmd so we open it.
we look for the directory using some dos commands.(for curiosity you guys can go out looking at ms-dos commands or for those on xp or 8 or …, you can type directly in the prompt ‘help’

Let us consider the example in your screen shot where our target folder is Test Folder
.

Now We Type In This Magic Command Attribute.
‘’attrib –s –h –r /s /d’’
Remember It For It Could Save your Life

 Then

It’s done. Wherever the hidden files you will recover it.
There are some many other types of commands with different utilities, let’s not be in a haste.
PS: for lazy dudes. Some software equally views these virus-hidden files like WinRAR.
See you next time

Hello am Sean wayne , I’m back with a new tip. Do you have a USB device that is plugged on the computer ? Are you able to see this device? If the answer to the first is yes and the second ‘’NO’’ .Follow the following steps

Usually we think our ports are bad or worst as usual we accuse our ’’ guys’’ Viruses.
The problem is at the windows register. Actually an error occurred at the level of giving the flash a letter (attribute). But no worries, we’ll remedy to that so fast.

                                                  This Opens

Okay now we get directly to ‘Disk management’. (And Pray Not To go elsewhere playing or touching for it could be lethal for your OS (lol)
By Now you should see something like this

;Now We Can See my Toshiba and the Others. But The ‘Toshiba’ drive has no Letter (attribute). So we Right-click on The ‘’ wanted’’ device and go to ‘Modify letter

Then another Pop up window will be displayed as below

We Click On Add and choose a letter of our choice

                                                                        Then Ok

Toshiba Drive Exposed

Now Visible. So  No more blames neither to our ports nor viruses.

Aim Achieved!!!
See you on my next Post

Tips for Retrieving Some Hidden Files by Viruses or. On  storage like UBS’s or Memory Cards.

For this we got to know about a great guy called the ‘Command Prompt’.
Its Utility is Really Vast but for now. We’ll limit here and and who knows, later I may Bring more on It. But Please guys, just follow what i do because if you fail to do so, you may ruin your computer and have to re-install the system.

Here is a summary of what you will see in the Slide show.
STEP 1:  Launching We Move ‘starts button’/’All Programs’/’Accessories’

STEP2: Now we may enter the letter of the desired device in the command prompt. In my case it’s ‘J’ as seen in the slide show.

STEP 3 : Hit Enter and  type  ‘attrib -s -h /s /d *.*’ and hit ‘Enter’
And It’s Done everything is visible.  Check out the slideshow if you want the tutorials with pictures.

The last two screen shots show the case when some of my files were hidden and the last one show the results I obtained after taking the steps mentioned above.
This Is a great tips you should know because many files are usually hidden on our PCs by viruses. Even with windows ‘show hidden files option’ nothing is recovered and we all get confused saying they have been eaten up by viruses.
Stay tuned for my next post. To read more of my posts on RANSBIZ click here
