Todays card is a fun and easy swing card using a Sizzix die and Lawn Fawn stamp.

First I started with a bright yellow cardstock for the base cut.  Using my Sizzix die this was easy to make.  I love that I can just run this die through my Big Shot and it cuts the card, adds all of the creases for the folds and cuts the shape that "swings" in the center all at once.

Next it was time to embellish.  I took a smaller piece of cardstock with bright stripes on it and placed it over just a portion of the die.

After that, I cut on the crease line

Now you can see the pieces after I cut down the crease line.

I adhered the larger portion of the striped paper to the left side of the card, and added the small strip to the far right for an accent.

Then I cut three pieces of ribbon and attached them to the circular portion of the card on the inside.  To hide the ends and where the tape was, I cut a circle out of a coordinating piece of blue cardstock and centered that inside of the circle shape of the card.

I stamped Happy Birthday on it and added some dots of Viva Decor for accent.

Now lets finish the outside!  I used the same blue cardstock, but this time I added some embossed dots to the circle to give some texture.  I layered a giraffe that I cut and stamped with my Lawn Fawn stamps.  Since I cut him from a creamy yellow cardstock I simply stamped him in brown to add the details, and then colored in the spots . . . quick, easy and cute!

This is how the finish card looks when it is standing up . . . the inside view . . .

If you changed the inside sentiment, this could also be an adorable card for the arrival of a new baby.

THIS is a post I did not know I would be making when I started off to the Craft and Hobby Association Trade Show (CHA) this year . . . a collection of all of the things I saw on the show floor that made me think of Disney!

I have included links so you can follow these companies.  Let them know Shawn Mosch sent you!

The first thing I saw that made me think of Disney were these Alice In Wonderland cardstock sheets that you can color in, from Marion Smith.

Next I spotted the paper at the Reminisce, which would be perfect for Frozen projects.

And for your Toy Story projects, or photos from Toy Story Mania at the parks!

They also have another one called Real Magic that was not on display, but I saw it on their website.  Just click HERE to check it out.

Next up, I spotted some Mickeys in the ClearScrap booth!  Not only do they have Mickey shapes, but an entire Mickey book.  Check it out!

Buttons Galore has some great buttons, but I think my favorites might be the Mickey Mouse balloon shapes! These would look adorable on a scrapbook layout or card.

I have a blog post JUST about Buttons Galore HERE . . . loved their booth!

Now off to Paper Wizard!  There was SO MUCH to see here!  Mickey and Minnie books

A line of stamps!

And here are some of their pre-cut shapes

I had to find some Donald love . . . he is my daughters favorite.

Really, this is just a small sampling of what they carry.  Check out the links below
And tell them Shawn Mosch sent you!

Have you got Moxxie?  I say that these papers are a MUST for the Disney crafter!

Again, tell them that Shawn Mosch sent you.

In the very next booth I found Queen & Co.  and the first thing that caught my eye was the Magic Collection - Around The Park mat stack.

They also have stickers

And these buttons, that they call "flair"

They were kind enough to donate one of their mat stacks for us to use as a prize in our upcoming Disney Pixar Blog Hop.  If you dont know about this event yet, you can check out the details HERE.  Basically, it will be a day of enjoying Disney themed crafting projects and inspiration!

This next photo is of a project that was on display at the Heartfelt Creations booth.  I liked how they used all of these different elements, along with the phrase "You Can Fly" and a picture of a boy in a Peter Pan hat.

Even though the paper and elements are not truly Disney items, it still gives the feel of Disney because of the phrase.

Now check THIS out!  Rolls and rolls of Disney themed Duck Tape!

Here is a cute little Mickey Mouse shaker card I found in the Cheery Lynn Designs booth.  One great thing about Mickey is that you dont really need a special die to create him . . . three circles is all you need.

Next up . . . Disney stamps from Scrapbook Customs.  These are perfect for adding a touch of Disney to any of your cards.

They also have adorable Disney stickers and papers.

There were some products at the Pebbles booth that reminded me of Frozen, including stamps, stickers and papers.
