The android open source operating system has  developers option which you can use to get access to many features of an android devices as a user or a developer. Despites some setbacks of this process, it is worth trying because of the following reasons.
-1 rooting your android device gives you the possibility of upgrading to the latest version of the android operating system. This can be done with ROMs like CM12 and other ‘’cool’’ ROMS.

-2 Creating/saving space on your phones memory.  You might have noticed that it is not too easy to enable apps on your phone to be saved on your SD card. But we a rooted phone, it works like MAGIC.

-3 Some apps will only work on rooted devices. Rooting your device gives you the possibility of Running special applications as well as unlocking hidden features on your phone. Some programs like greenify  require rooted devices to function properly.
-4  Rooted devices have increased battery life compared to the unrooted .An app like Greenify can be installed on rotted phones which help in giving your battery a better life compared to our popular power saving apps.
5. Rooting an android device gives you full ownership of your mobile device. Think of the apps that come preinstalled in your phone. With a rooted phone, you can add, remove or hide apps.
6.  Rooting a phone keeps your current apps intact. There is no need to be afraid, the rooting process does not destroy your apps, what it does is it gives you a root user access to your phone. However, there are other thingsto consider.
7. WE are aware of the thousands of apps that can be used to back up your phone on an android device, but what happens when we root a phone? Alright, rooting a phone to me simply means ‘’better back up’’.  Haha, weird right? Ok the thing is when I rooted my HTC phone,  I was able to download an app Titanium back up. I noticed that with the other apps, I was just able to back up my apps, but with this app. But we titanium, I back up candy crush and after restoring I was able to continue from my last stage and not on the first. Got it?  Do you agree on my idea of better back up?
8.  Rooted devices have improved mobile performance. You can easily change the CPU frequency of a rooted phone. This gives users the possibility to speed up the device with no complications.
9. Some android phones today do not per tethering. If you want to make your phone Wi-Fi hotspot , then consider rooting the phone. Note that with the new versions of phones, tethering is a common thing. So just ensure your phone has this facility.
10. What other advantage can you think of?

These are just my views on rooting phones. With  the increasing needs of features on phones by users, some of the advantages of rooting devices  mentioned above can be enjoyed without actually rooting. For example with nexus, you can get automatic updates and more. If you have the latest android device, consider exploring  the available feature before thinking of rooting.

Hey guys , I’m back with a new tip. do you have a USB device or any storage device even in your computer(just like a folder with missing files) containing files you can’t see meanwhile you know they are in there hiding? Then in this quick tutorial I’ll tell you more about recovering them.
The  first thing To Be Done Is To Verify the Space Occupied By The Folder.

Its Just Like Incredible. The File Is Empty But Still occupies 76Mbs.
This may usually be due to some settings by the user like hiding files with windows.

(On Windows Xp It may be Different To Access the View Settings.

Where this could be solved by ticking the ‘hidden items button’.  but sometimes this may be caused by our regular guys ‘viruses’.
So in this case we shall proceed as follows:
i hope you all remember our buddy ‘command prompt, aka cmd so we open it.
we look for the directory using some dos commands.(for curiosity you guys can go out looking at ms-dos commands or for those on xp or 8 or …, you can type directly in the prompt ‘help’

Let us consider the example in your screen shot where our target folder is Test Folder
.

Now We Type In This Magic Command Attribute.
‘’attrib –s –h –r /s /d’’
Remember It For It Could Save your Life

 Then

It’s done. Wherever the hidden files you will recover it.
There are some many other types of commands with different utilities, let’s not be in a haste.
PS: for lazy dudes. Some software equally views these virus-hidden files like WinRAR.
See you next time

We have seen in my last post the pros of rooting an android device. Rooting an android device involves risk. However you can always do great things with your device when it is rooted. I for one I’ve taken the risk. Here are some disadvantages of rooting your device.

== You can experience random reboots after rooting your device.
==rooting can lead to loss of data. This is why it is recommended you back up your data before rooting your device.
==Rooting a mobile phone can be a road to jail. Yes, I mean jail (prison).  This only happens when you crack  a boot loader.
==There is a possibility of bricking your android device.  If you fall into this , you can get to the company that supplied you with the rooting software if they can help resurrect your phone. If they fail to do it, then think of other ways your phone can be used or just name it a ‘’Toy’’ for your kids or little friends.
== Rooting will void the warranty of your phone. No company will accept to replace your rooted device.
== In  a situations where the rooting involves the installation of a custom ROM, your device will fail to get updates. You know what this can mean to your device.

==  Rooted phones are more open to viruses and malwares than unrooted devices. Rooting your device simply means ‘’I am ready for viruses’’
==  Even though the purpose of rooting a phone is to improve performance, the rooting process can just end up reducing your phone performance especially speed.
== Rooting your phone can cause you spend money in an attempt to repair your phone. I remember my friend Jean who spent  100 dollars to get his phone back to no avail.  It is necessary to meet an expert when things go way ward.
==Damage to your Computer: You have to becareful with the apps, you install on your computer to root your android devices. Make sure you read reviews and ratings of the apps to ensure there are safe to run on your PC.  If you fail to do your research, then you can likely say ‘’good bye to your pc’’ Too bad.
